March 21
A very early trip to the beautiful city of Burges (Belgium) where we toured the city and went to the chocolate museum. We had plenty of time to walk around and discover the city. As well there was a bit of time to shop, where the main purchases were lace and chocolate (as well as some clothes). The weather was glorious and some of the flowering trees were starting to bloom.

Mrs Amor at the Lake of Love, or Minnewater ( Amor at Amour) -where the two canals meet, complete with many many swans and ducks

During free time, Lucia and I took a horsedrawn carriage ride around this medieval city.

Burge is known for their lace making and chocolate. Kate bought a hat and scarf which incorporate lace detail

My WiFi purchased time at the hotel is ending. I will continue to add pictures to this wiki even after we return home.
